The food was of exceptional quality and good sized potions. The staff always had a smile on their faces and nothing seemed to too much hassle, they even changed the start time for breakfast to fit my schedule. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy but maybe a little on the small side. The atmosphere of the little village pub was charming and a great place for simply relaxing and getting away from the busy hectic pace of day to day life. If you are looking for a quiet out of the way B&B set in a beautiful old English village reminiscent of days gone by then this is the place you need to come.

The village of Snape is a beautiful place, The Castle Inn is a very old, quaint, country pub which was great value for money. It is everything you could want at the end of a busy day out and about. The staff were fantastic and the local customers were very welcoming, intersting and helpful. Even the dog was the friendliest I had ever met. Altogether, it made for an amazing experience. I hope to return one day. Thank you to Tony for the use of your glasses and Charlie for the gardening tips.

Loved how they made our dog so welcome, Bettie cocker really felt at home! Very relaxed, cosy atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cosy, quirky and spotlessly clean. Loved the variety of teas & coffees on the tray and the nice quality of shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathroom, a small detail but makes the difference. The food was good, lovely steaks and homecooked chips. Good breakfast, set us up for the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Castle Arms Inn. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was lovely and exceptional evening meals in restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Last but not least I must mention lovely Merlin the gorgeous border collie that lives there. Thank you Gill and staff for making our stay so pleasant. We would love to stay again. Kind Regards Christine, Richard and family.

Everything apart from the heating was fabulous. The heating needed to come on at least 2hours before 4.30pm and in the morning at least 2hours before it did and for it to stay on a couple of hours longer.it was freezing and I mean freezing it spoilt out stay . When you pay to stay you expect to be happy ,and not freezing, I can’t stress this enough put the heating on ,please.
